In case of death of a child in a juvenile correctional home, the juvenile correctional home shall immediately inform the parents, guardians or other family members of such children or the child welfare officer, police or probation officer using fast and reliable means.
(2) According to sub-rule (1), if contact cannot be made with the child's parents, guardians or other family members, the child reform home shall inform the concerned local level through appropriate means. (3) If the child as per sub-rule (1) is a foreigner, the juvenile correctional home shall notify in writing to the embassy or mission of the concerned country or the nearest office of the United Nations Children's Fund.
(4) Child's death certificate obtained from the health institution shall be given to the child's parent or guardian by the child correctional institution, and a copy shall be recorded and sent in writing to the relevant local level for death registration.
